AT THE CITY SHORT BREAKS SHOW
London Pass Celebrates 1 Million Visitors
The Leisure Pass Group, the world’s most innovative city pass supplier, is celebrating 1 million visitors for its London Pass.
Launched in 1999 LPG’s London Pass was the first city pass to take advantage of smart card technology which, linked to the company’s own LPOS system, provides city users and individual attractions with a vast range of data on card usage and customer preferences – invaluable for marketing and sales planning.
Since this time the London Pass has accounted for over 1 million attraction visits in the city, where it currently offers entry to over 50 London attractions and is twinned with a multi language special offers booklet.
The company also runs city passes in York, Paris and New York, with new cities to be announced during 200,7 and currently sells over 150,000 units per year.
To help cities make the most of their visitor attraction passes the Leisure Pass Group is also now marketing LPOS as a stand alone system to enable any city to make the most out of it visitors.

Visitors like smart cards because they are easy, high tech, durable and replicable if they get lost, and attractions like the system it gives them a Customer Relationship Management system that is feeding back visitor data. In addition to its city passes, the Leisure Pass Group also operates the Great British Heritage Pass on behalf of Visit Britain. Available to non-UK residents only, this smart card offers entry to over 600 historic attractions throughout the UK and has recently been expanded to include a new family card.
