The London Pass and The London Guide announce new partnership for 2005

Mark Hendriksen (Dr Watson), Publisher of The London Guide and Angus Rankine (Sherlock Holmes), Founding Director of the Leisure Pass Group, celebrate their new partnership by dressing up as a famous fictional partnership at the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

The Leisure Pass Group, creators of the London Pass, are announcing a new strategic partnership with The London Guide for the next year. The London Guide, London’s essential free guide to what is on in the Capital, will from January 2005 devote four pages to news and information about the London Pass and special benefits and savings.

The new partnership was announced at this year’s World Travel Market, where The London Guide supported the ‘£1 million London Pass Giveaway’ to all WTM visitors and exhibitors. A special edition of The London Guide was handed out with the London Passes and accompanying guidebooks, giving delegates a taste of the new partnership.

The extra pages in The London Guide will give the London Pass another medium to communicate news and special offers to its customers, as well as an opportunity to introduce added special benefits that will be open to both London Pass holders and readers of The London Guide.

Amanda Truman, Product Manager for the Leisure Pass Group, commented on the new partnership, “I am very excited about the new opportunities offered by the collaboration with The London Guide. This will allow us to regularly update our customers on the latest news from our member attractions, as well as special offers and new developments.”

Mark Hendriksen, Publisher of The London Guide said, “We are delighted to be partnering the London Pass who are undoubtedly the premier provider of value for money sightseeing for visitors to London. The combination of the two products provides visitors with the best of both worlds – superb money saving and timely information with advice on what’s on and where to go each and every month of the year. The London Guide reaches 2 million visitors to the capital each year.”
