New London Pass Attractions Increases Value
For Tourists
The award winning London Pass has recently signed up seven additional attractions to its existing portfolio, taking its overall value to over £450. The London Pass is the most economical way for visitors to see London’s sights, as the card now has free entry to over 54 attractions, together with preferential rates at 28 shops and restaurants.
In addition to the cost-saving benefits, The London Pass also enables users to head straight to the front of the queue of many attractions by using smart card technology. Full details of the attractions can be found in the new London Pass guidebook.
Users of The London Pass can now visit the Museum in Docklands, Museum of London’s special exhibitions, Britain at War Museum and the Zandra Rhodes Fashion and Textile Museum. The Bramah Museum of Tea and Coffee is offering London Pass visitors free entry, as well as a discount on its quintessentially English afternoon / cream tea. Holders of the pass will also be able to hire mobile phones from Rent-a-Phone. The Medieval Banquet is offering a 15% discount for all London Pass holders and The Original London Walks will give all users £2 off together with a membership card worth £6 for future discounts. Mobile Audio Tours provided by HandHeld History, are also on the menu, allowing visitors to tour London, listening to its history on their mobile phone. Famous names such as Joanna Lumley, will guide visitors through tours such as ‘Westminster Tour’ and ‘Around the Tower Tour’, making their visit all the more enjoyable.
Any Pass holders planning to visit the ice rink at Hampton Court Palace during the winter months, will receive a free mug of Galaxy hot chocolate to help ward off the winter chills.
The new guidebook also features a new ‘After Dark’ page, which includes offers such as specially priced theatre tickets, special offers at Planet Hollywood, a complimentary glass of wine at both the People’s Palace Restaurant, and the Admiralty restaurant at Somerset House, together with evening walks in the footsteps of Jack The Ripper.
Commenting on the additional attractions, Founding Director, Angus Rankine said: “Our team here at The Leisure Pass Group, are always looking for new ways to make The London Pass more attractive to visitors and it is our aim to make The London Pass an essential part of every visitors stay. We are very much looking forward to working with our new partners, and to providing a product which makes London’s tourists keep coming back for more.”
The London Pass is recognised as being one of the most effective city cards in the world, as it covers the majority of the city’s attractions, and has been proactively marketed to visitors since its inception in 1997. The London Pass has teamed up with Visit London for World Travel Market to offer free passes to all delegates – approximately 45,000, with a giveaway value of over £1,000,000. The London Pass has also been closely involved with Visit London’s Totally London campaign, which has been running throughout the year.
