Bath Launches Free Entry City Pass

A new smart card for visitors to Bath is to be launched at the Roman Baths on Monday 25th June. The Bath Pass offers free entry to over 30 attractions in Bath, Bristol and beyond, plus unlimited use of Guide Friday hop-on-hop off sightseeing tour and is available for 1,2,3 and 7 days.

The Bath Pass, launched by Leisure Pass Group, the company behind the success of The London Pass, features attractions with a combined entrance value of over £150.00, plus additional benefits to visitors such as discounts and added value offers at shops and restaurants. Every Bath attraction carrying an entrance fee is included within the Pass, plus the key attractions in nearby Bristol, such as At-Bristol, ss Great Britain and Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre. The surrounding countryside is also represented, giving visitors the chance to discover the region’s stately homes, gardens and nature trails.

The ground-breaking Pass is the first of its type for Bath. The wide selection of activities offered ranges from the world famous Roman Baths & Pump Room, to art galleries, museums and historic buildings to gardens and bicycle hire. The Bath Pass even offers boat trips, wildlife and country parks, abbeys and walking tours, ensuring there is something for everyone. Free unlimited travel on Guide Friday‘s hop-on-hop-off sightseeing bus in Bath means getting around the city allows visitors to make the most of their stay.

Visitors simply present their Pass at the attractions, and they will get in for free. Each attraction has been equipped with a state-of-the-art reader through which the smart card is swiped.

The Bath Pass offers a handy full colour guidebook with maps listing details of all the attractions featured. Prices start from just £19.00 per adult and £12.00 per child for a 1-day pass, so you only have to visit two attractions to start saving money.

‘Bath is a beautiful city with a wide range of activities for visitors’ said Andrew Grahame, Director of Leisure Pass Group. ‘The introduction of The Bath Pass will ensure everyone can enjoy all that Bath has to offer and get full value for money during their stay. The Bath Pass highlights the wealth of attractions and activities, and presents them in one convenient, value for money package’.

The Bath Pass can be purchased by telephone on 0870 242 9988. Bookings can also be made online at www.bathpass.com or at the Bath Tourist Information Centre.
