A FREE London Pass for every World Travel Market Delegate and Exhibitor

Leisure Pass Group has teamed up with Visit London to offer all WTM attendees and exhibitors, a FREE 1 Day London Pass worth £27. The offer is the largest in the event’s history, and is worth in excess of £1.2 million.

This initiative is a unified approach to marketing London to an audience of over 45,000 travel industry professionals who attend the event each year. It is hoped that the promotion will demonstrate the diverse range and affordability of sightseeing in London, as well as highlighting The London Pass as the perfect way to see all that this amazing city has to offer.

Leisure Pass Group will be exhibiting at this year’s event, so be sure to visit us on the Visit London stand: UK13050

Price Freeze

The London Pass freezes Trade Prices

To show our commitment to London’s inbound tourism, we have frozen The London Pass trade rates until April 2005. The move, which was announced in August this year, has been met with praise and support from tour operators and agents from within the industry.

Holding The London Pass prices for the trade will ensure that the product remains attractive as well as competitively priced within the market. As attractions raise their admission prices over the coming year, the value and benefits to be gained from having The London Pass will increase immensely.

To publicise the announcement, members of the Leisure Pass Group team dressed in Eskimo and Penguin suits on the hottest day ever recorded in Britain. The stunt, which was carried out in Parliament Square, not only raised temperatures for those in the suits, but also raised a few eyebrows from the many curious onlookers!

The London Business Card Available from 1 January 2004

In January 2004, we will be launching our first business pass aimed solely at the business traveller and conference market.

Holders of The London Business Card will benefit from a special offer or rate at a range of service providers and restaurants such as: Airport Express Trains, Black Cabs, Chez Gerard, Livebait, Medicentre, LA Fitness and theatre ticket services courtesy of Albemarle Theatre.

What’s on in London this Christmas

The Yuletide season is fast approaching and the time is upon us whence we must once again become ye faithful, joyful and triumphant. Seasons Greetings aside, London will once again be a city filled with Christmas cheer and the jingling of bells.

The annual lighting of the Oxford and Regent Street Christmas lights is to take place on 13 November. Pop stars, Daniel Beddingfield and Enrique Inglesias are on hand to help turn the lights on this year. The lights will be switched on at 6:45 pm.

A number of London Pass attractions will also be holding festive season themed events.

Enter a Winter Wonderland as Hampton Court Palace re-creates Tudor days with a spectacular outdoor ice rink. Exclusive to London Pass holders is the offer of a free mug of hot chocolate.

Kenwood House will be playing host to an evening of Christmas poetry, songs and harp music presented by Elizabeth Ritchie and Jane Lister.

Surround yourself in winter delights and shimmering lights, late night shopping, music and family entertainment, as the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kew spread their goodwill to all.

Welcome to Cecilia

Cecilia De Freitas

We would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to Leisure Pass Group’s newest team member, Cecilia De Freitas. Cecilia is a native South African who moved to London over three months ago, and has been appointed at Leisure Pass Group as our new, well, first Business Development Executive.

Cecilia has a number of years experience in the industry, previously working for tour operator, Absolute Tours. The position, which involved travel to exotic destinations such as Australia, Mauritius and the Far East, only fuelled her desire to travel further, resulting in the decision to move abroad to London.

We welcome Cecilia to the Leisure Pass Group team and wish her all the best in this new and exciting role.

Why not drop Cecilia a line:

The Britain & London Visitor Centre at 1 Regent Street in the heart of the West End

Vanessa tassetto

The Britain & London Visitor Centre is the public face of The London Pass. Without the centre’s commitment and support, The Pass would not be the success that it is today. Apart from providing a world class tourist information service to the many domestic and international tourists that walk through its doors each year, the centre is also the main redemption point for our internet and trade London Pass vouchers.

We would like to thank all Visit Britain staff for their continued support and hard work, in particular Vanessa Tassetto, who is the Operations Queen, main London Pass contact and all round nice-girl.
